Quiet day today. I did go to the Dollar General and got some mouse traps. Kathy saw what she called a “furry friend” in the back room. Have I ever said I hate mice? If not, I will tell you now, I hate mice! We both told her cat Louis we better start earning his keep and go to it! He didn’t seem too fazed by that.
I took a nap this afternoon. Have felt very tired all day. Not sure why but since I could find sleep I decided to allow it. I’m still tired tonight.
I got two loads of laundry washed, folded and put away. Always feel good when I get all that done in the same day.
Tomorrow I am going to the meat locker in the morning to pick up the beef. I will come home and sort it into thirds and then put one third in my freezer to take to Nicole another day. My neighbor will come get one third and a friend is going to come get one third. It will be good to have that job done and taken care of.
Tuesday I am going with some dear friends to Manhattan for lunch. Wednesday I have a doctor’s appointment in the morning in Emporia. The rest of the week should be empty space time.
I had a discussion with a person tonight. We have a lot in common but also a lot of opinions we hold differently. It was refreshing to have a civil conversation and we ended with both of us better understanding the other’s point of view. Neither of us changed our minds on where we stand but that wasn’t the point of the discussion. I better understand the choices they are making even when I don’t agree.
We both agree that individuals should be able to make the choices that best serve themselves and their families.
I called the internet service to find out why I couldn’t pull up my new website using their service but I could using my phone as the internet. He did his magic and I now can pull up the new website. I didn’t need to buy a VPN whatever that is. I was grateful it got fixed.
Think I will go to bed early tonight as I am still tired. Not sure where this exhaustion is coming from. Hoping I have lots more energy tomorrow. Hoping I get the doctor’s note on my colonoscopy tomorrow. I still have no idea what he found or did.
Grateful for people that are willing to have conversations even when we don’t agree, grateful for an afternoon nap, and grateful I was able to get the website situation fixed.
