This has not been an easy day. Second one in a row. I think that is enough of this. Tomorrow has got to be better!

Played peek a boo with sleep all night and if I catch sleep, I didn’t stay asleep. I laid back down this morning and again this afternoon but didn’t have much more luck. I am tired and cranky tonight.

The neighbor kid came over and attempted to make the website go live. It will load on non apple products but not on apple products. When I look up what to do, I don’t understand the instructions as they use words I have no idea where to go to find what they want me to do.

He brought over a contract that I needed to sign. Have no idea what most of it says or means. He is a real professional at age 12!

I will have the kid come over tomorrow and see if he can figure it out. I am too tired and frustrated to attempt it again tonight.

Other than getting two loads of laundry washed, dried, folded and put away I haven’t done much today. One of those days where everything I went to do caused frustration. I sorted my pills for two weeks and when I pulled the tray of pills out of the cabinet four bottles of pills fell down. Rinse and repeat and that is how my day has gone.

The good news of the day is I got more donations for Love in Action today. We have several ways donors can give and I think all of them were used today. It is good to get a live test on the two new ones so I can figure out how to get to the funds. Donors have been very generous in giving lately. It is a good thing as the website is costing more than I expected. We had to purchase some sort of thing today and have no idea what it was and when it renews, etc. I don’t understand that stuff and have no real desire to learn it. Hope the neighbor kid never moves!

What a beautiful day it was today. Low humidity, 80’s temperature, and light winds. I could live somewhere when it is like this every day. Kathy worked out in the yard today. She is sore tonight.

No plans tomorrow although I hope the website gets fixed so it can be released. That will be one more thing off my list of things to do.

One of the Detainees has requested a priest so he can do confession and receive communion. That is out of my control so will write a note to the staff at the Center and ask about the protocol they have for that. I’m not allowed to deal with religious matters due to the 501()3 requirements.

I do have a couple of notes I need to send to some Pen Pals. I wrote one this morning and I was almost done with it and it disappeared. This happened one other time. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or if the system glitches and causes that. I was too frustrated to write it all out again when it happened.

I heard from my transport that she has arrived safely in New York. If I understood her correctly she didn’t get there until today. Not sure what the story behind that is but it doesn’t matter as she is where she needs to be now and is safe. I trust she won’t encounter ICE again.

I needed to refill two prescriptions so will need to go to town sometime this week and pick those up. I have a presentation to do on Wednesday so I can get them then if I don’t make it to town before then. Friday I have my colonoscopy so will have to start prep on Thursday. I haven’t gotten the instructions yet so hoping those come by Tuesday. If not, I will have to call and get them as I don’t know what supplies I will need to do the prep.

I realized today I haven’t had two bad days back to back for a bit. I can’t believe when I was with Jim I had them most of the time. I am grateful they are rare enough that I notice when I have two back to back now. However did I live like this all the time?

I have a bunch of thank you notes I need to write. Maybe I can get those done tomorrow. The good news is both Zeffy and PayPal give me mailing addresses so I can formally acknowledge the donations. VENMO does not do that.

My peaceful valley doesn’t feel so peaceful tonight. I think most of it is sleep deprivation more than anything else. I sure wish there was a cure for my sleeping problem.

Grateful the website is almost ready to go, grateful that this too shall pass, and grateful for the break in the heat and humidity.
