Kathy and I loaded up the dogs and took them for their vaccinations. Both behaved fairly well and tolerated their shots and the car ride. Roxy got some ointment for her red and dripping eyes. I got some flea and tic medication for the two dogs and one cat. It cost almost $400 to get out the door. Yikes!

Haven’t done a darn thing else all day. I fell asleep in my chair for a bit this afternoon. It has been one of those types of days. I decided to let Love in Action rest today and I did the same.

Tomorrow I might go to Pioneer Bluffs for their fall event. It is to be a nice day and I would love to see some people. I need to push myself to get out more and interact with humans. I seem to have become a hermit and don’t get much face-to-face connection with others.

The world energy is so chaotic that it takes all I have just to keep myself grounded and above neutral. It is hard for me to hold my center when I am out and about. Maybe since most of the activity is outside tomorrow it will be a bit easier. The good news is if I find myself sliding down, I can leave at any time.

Monday I have two phone meetings – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The rest of the week is fairly open and quiet. I will probably be washing up sweat pants for a couple of days if they get here as anticipated Monday. I want to hold some of them to use when we wash up the socks and underwear. I think they will balance the loads better.

This feels a bit like the calm before the storm. After next week I have two very busy weeks with all the work days. Then I only have a week after that until my trip. Best enjoy the quiet while it lasts.

I do need to go to KC one day next week. A lady has some goods for Love in Action for me to pick up and Nicole needs to see my passport so she can do something with it for the trip. I’ll have to check with the two of them and see when it would work for me to come. I always have a running list of things I need from Costco so can make a stop while there and take care of those things.

I can’t believe it was almost 90 out today. Summer is definitely holding on. I read there is a cold front coming in next week with the possibility of a light freeze. The weather patterns are certainly changing. Wonder what the winter will bring?

I saw the announcement that the government is going to show a firing squad execution. They show executions almost daily but those executions are of innocent people being killed by government officials. I do find it interesting that the man they are going to show is a minority. Geez, what a surprise – right?

I keep feeling some weird vibes about what is coming over the next 90 days. I can’t imagine some of it as it all feels so out of control and out of bounds. Trusting that it will result in some people waking up and realizing what is happening. At some level none of it feels “real” anymore.

Grateful for a quiet day, grateful for a chair nap, and grateful for a day of rest.
