Jim asked me to marry him last night. I said yes! Not sure when we will do the deed but probably sometime this summer.
The candlelight service at the church was lovely. They sang some of my favorite Christmas carols, served communion and ended it with Silent Night and Joy to the World using the candles to light the church.
Today was a beautiful day in Oklahoma. It was over 70 degrees out and sunny with bright blue skies. We took a one mile walk this afternoon after we wrapped all the presents. Felt so good to get out and walk again. My feet haven’t felt up to walking lately. We picked up a lot of cans and bottles along the sidewalk.
The sons came over late afternoon. We opened gifts and have dinner cooking now. Waiting on the girlfriend to get here and than we will have dinner. The sons treated me very nicely and gave me some nice gifts. Jim spoiled me as usual and gave me some thoughtful gifts.
Jim and one of the sons are sitting out on the back porch waiting for the other one to come back with his girlfriend. Loving this spring like weather for Christmas.
It has been a very pleasant, relaxing day. I like the low key atmosphere and the love shared between us all.

I’m grateful Christmas is over for this year though. I truly am blessed and excited for 2020!
