It has been a quiet, lazy day today. Not sure I accomplished much of anything today. I slept for three hours last night than was up most of the night. Finally got back to sleep around 5:30 and slept until 10:00. When you get up that late the day goes by quickly.
Cleaned up some of the clutter that was made yesterday and did some knitting. Didn’t even go for a walk today. It was a bit cooler out today and I felt cold inside all day today. Sure hope I’m not coming down with something. When I woke up in the middle of the night I didn’t feel very good. Have felt better today except for getting the chills off and on.
I might be selling my Prius to one of Jim’s sons. There car is about to die and I am ready to get a new car. Mine is almost seven years old. It will make a wonderful car for Jim’s son and I will get a new one. They came over and test drove it today and will let me know tomorrow if they want to drive it to CA when they drive home Saturday or if they have decided not to take it or They may wait and fly out and drive it home. Either way works for me.
I am going to look at several cars but think I want a Subaru Outback. I haven’t driven one yet so may change my mind. Jim likes to buy cars so he can help me. I learned when I got the Prius to not just buy the cheapest one on the lot. I want a few extras and will pay extra to get them. I don’t need all the bells and whistles though. We will have to go to Oklahoma City to find a dealership as there isn’t one in Stillwater.
Trusting tomorrow I will find some energy and get something done. I don’t like days when I don’t do much. Jim did some computer work this afternoon and didn’t get outside as he had planned to. It is to be cooler tomorrow but we need to get something done. The to do list is long and we can’t waste everyday by being lazy.
Ellexia texted me a couple times today and we FaceTime for a bit. When she gets bored she reaches out to me and I help her kill some time. She had cleaned her room and showed it to me. Wish I could have been closer I would have gone and gotten her and spent some time with her.
Grateful for a lazy day today, grateful for my granddaughter Ellexia, and grateful for getting a second sleep this morning.
