I had physical therapy at noon today.  I was at the clinic for over one and one half hours.  At the end my therapist stretched my toe and bent it against it’s will.  OUCH!  I have much more flexibility in it now and I also have a lot more pain in it.  Hopefully it will calm down soon and maintain the new flexibility.

We went out for lunch after therapy and stopped at the grocery store for a few things.  Jim is now outside working on windows.  I have been inside doing some cleaning.  We only have ten more days before Jim’s sons come home for Christmas and the house isn’t ready yet.

We don’t have anything we have to do tomorrow and Saturday.  Sunday we go to church in the morning and again for a special hymn sing in the evening.  Monday I have physical therapy again and than Tuesday we go to Wichita for my last doctor’s appointment.  We will go to Strong City for a few days after I see the doctor and than come back to Stillwater next Friday.

Finally feeling more like myself today.  This has been a tough week for me for some reason.  It is good to be feeling good again.  I hope I don’t have to take a pain pill this evening as they depress me and drain my energy level.  I keep reminding myself this foot journey is almost over and to hang in their just a bit longer.

The window project has taken much longer than expected.  Hoping we are getting close to finishing that project so we can move on to the next one.  The list of projects is long and each project seems to take longer than planned.  One of the hazards of home repair I guess.

The internet worked great this morning.  The new router seems to have increased the internet speed.  Grateful I was able to get the router installed and up and working.

I tried getting hold of Ellexia yesterday to wish her a happy birthday but she didn’t have her phone turned on.  Trusting she had a fun day and the clothes I ordered for her fit.

Picked up my training material so I can start studying for my tax tests I have to pass so I can do taxes in Oklahoma.  As I read through the exercises I just have to shake my head.  None of the cases come even close to the reality of the type of cases I actually do.  Wish they would let us spend our training time on real world cases instead of unusual cases that we will not see.  I’ll have to start studying the material.  My classes are in the middle of January so have lots of time to get through it and prepare myself.  I’m so grateful the lady in charge in Stillwater reached out to me and will let me do taxes here this winter.

Feel a bit like I am living in two different worlds.  Both feel comfortable and like I am at home.  Not sure I would want to live like this for a long time but am managing it OK for now.

I had a fun time at the choir party last night.  I have gotten to know several of the people that were there and had some good conversations with several of them last night.  They are all nice people and interesting to talk to.  Most are associated somehow or other with OSU.

Grateful for more flexibility in my big toe, grateful for friends of Jim that accept me, and grateful some more cleaning got done today.
