I took a long nap yesterday and was able to sleep last night. Not sure why I am needing more sleep and able to get it right now but am rolling with it. Someday I may understand what makes me sleep and what prevents it but I’m not there yet.

We went to church this morning. A lady was in the pew in front of me and turned around to talk to me. When she realized I couldn’t stand up she moved to sit by me as she said standing was hard for her but she felt she had to do it. We decided my pew was going to be the sitting pew. That was sweet of her to join me.

I am knitting a baby blanket and made a mistake about six rows back. It was a big enough mistake I had to tink (rip) it back. I rarely bother to fix mistakes but this one was a big one. Finally got that done and am back to knitting. I only have about 18 rows to go before I am done with this one. Still not sure what I am going to do with the pile of baby blankets I have made since I have had my bunions fixed but hoping I will find homes for all of them sooner or later.

Matilda has behaved herself and I haven’t had to take any pain pills for several days now. Gertrude is bruised from me running over her with the scooter. I am looking forward to Wednesday when the dressing goes away and I can start putting some weight on my foot.

It is to be over 70 the next two days in Stillwater. Wish I could get out and take a long hike. Jim has some outside projects to work on. It is too hard for me to scoot over uneven ground so I am stuck inside. I need to find something to do as I am going a little stir crazy.

We went to Walmart today so I got some exercise pushing the scooter. Guess I will take exercise when I can find it.

Wednesday Jim wants to go to Salina after my doctor’s appointment in Wichita. There is some sort of steam train engine coming through Salina and he wants to go see it. It is supposed to rain Wednesday so we will see if we end up going. Thursday I start physical therapy.

Grateful for naps and sleep, grateful for kind people in church, and grateful for little to no pain for the last couple of days.
