As feared I didn’t sleep well last night. That is what I get for taking too long of a nap yesterday. I didn’t take a nap today so trusting I will sleep well tonight.
We went to church this morning. They only had one service today so had to be at church at 9:30. The choir didn’t sing today so actually got to sit with Jim today during the service.
Came home afterwards and after lunch did some cleaning while Jim sorted through several totes of books. He condensed them and has a big pile to take to the library for the book sale.
This evening we went back to church for a chili feed and carol sing. Jim led the carol sing. It was an enjoyable evening. I am getting to know more people and ran into several people I have gotten to know.
Tomorrow I have physical therapy at 2:00. It may be my last session. I’ll see what the doctor says Tuesday. My toe bends up easily but not so good down.
Tuesday we go to Wichita for my last doctor’s appointment and than on to Strong City for a couple of nights. We will come back to Stillwater on Friday. The first of Jim’s sons comes in Sunday evening and will be here for a week. The other one comes in Monday. It will be fun having them around for a bit.
When we are here I can envision myself selling my house and moving here full time. When we are in Strong City the same thing happens! Guess we will keep both houses for a bit and continue to go back and forth and see where we end up long-term. It does feel like we live in two different worlds though. Not sure I want to do that permanently.
I have a list of things I need to get done when I get back to Strong City. Not sure when I am returning so need to plan for not returning for a month or more. I’ll have to do a feed haul while I am home so that the critters all have a month’s worth of food on hand.
I hear the prairie got a cover of snow today and more snow is predicted for tomorrow. We got a light sprinkle this morning here but no snow. Trusting the roads will be clear by Tuesday morning.
Need to remember to pick up and bring my address book back to Stillwater as I want to send a few Christmas cards next week.
Grateful for a church family that accepts me and welcomes me, grateful the time in my boot has almost come to an end, and grateful for libraries that will accept used books.
