Went into Emporia this morning for my pre-op appointment with my family doctor.  He spent about five minutes with me.  Most of the time he was on the computer.  He finally listened to my heart and said I was good to go.

Got the first of two sets of blood test results back.  All on the first set were within normal limits.  Should have the second set back either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Stopped by the post office to mail my internet adapter cord back to my old internet company.  After a stop at the bank to cash a check I came home.

My get up and go got up and left without me today.  I was feeling tired and a bit drained this afternoon.  I started having bad diarrhea about two hours ago and it is still going on.  Feels a bit like a flashback to my Ayahuasca experience in Peru.  I sure trust it won’t last five days like that episode did.  I don’t have time for that!

I haven’t gotten anything else done this afternoon besides running to the bathroom.  It is starting to slow down a bit.  I think I am ready to have a colonoscopy- I am cleaned out!  Yuck!

Had another guest book for the weekend.  He is coming in Thursday night and staying until Sunday morning.  I will have five guests Friday night and four on Saturday night.  Might as well fill the house if I am going to have guests.

I called my plumber about the booster pump.  He told me parts to fix it cost $500 and a new pump is $900.  He recommended I replace the pump as the one I have is one that was remade five years ago.  Ouch!  Sure seems I have had a rash of things breaking down around here lately.  Hope I am getting to the bottom of the barrel of things breaking down.  My annual repair budget has been blown up.

I managed to get the light bulb in the high ceiling in the living room replaced today.  I have to use a long extension pole to change it and sometimes it is easier than other times to change it.  Today was an easy day.  Still not sure why the same bulb keeps burning out.  Next time I have the electrician out I will have him check it out for me. Thinking the socket needs replaced.

I didn’t get the chicken coop cleaned out today.  I haven’t even made it down to do chicken chores this afternoon.  I can’t be that far from the bathroom.  Maybe I will be better in another hour or so and can get down there before it gets dark.

I think I will skip dinner tonight and let my tummy settle down.  Not sure if I have a mild case of food poisoning or what is going on.  Have no clue what I have eaten that would have caused it.  I’m trying to drink as much water as I can get down so I don’t get dehydrated.  It seems to activate my gut when I drink water.

It is only going to be 50 for the high tomorrow.  Not sure I am ready for colder temperatures.  There is even a chance for snow flurries next week.  Not even ready for snow!  Getting around on one foot if it gets icy will be a challenge.

I don’t think I have to leave the prairie for the next few days.  Tomorrow a guy is coming to replace the broken window in the master bedroom.  The first of my weekend guests arrives tomorrow afternoon too.  I like to stay close to home when I have guests, at least until I know it is OK to leave them.  Some I can leave and others I feel better if I hang around the house.

I remembered I get Apple Music free with my new cell phone plan.  Figured out I can play it through my Sonos system.  Got that running today and have been enjoying listening to different music this afternoon.  I may be able to cancel my Spotify subscription if I can find enough music I enjoy.

Declaring the rest of the day a rest day.  Trusting by morning I will be back to feeling good and have the energy to clean the house.  My guest is to be here around 2:00 so will need to get with it in the morning and get the house ready for him.

Grateful for blood test results that are all in the normal range, grateful my tummy is starting to quiet down, and grateful for the sun shining in through the west windows this afternoon.  It warms my soul and spirit!
