I am still in my pajamas if that tells you how my day has gone. Just didn’t feel like getting dressed today. I put some sweat pants on this morning when I got up and never felt like taking them off to take a shower. I didn’t have any where to go today so declared it a PJ day.
Cleaned the master bedroom and bathroom today. Got on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floors. Actually I was more on my butt than my knees. It is much easier getting down to the ground than it is to get back up again. Also got the kitchen floor hand scrubbed. Found way too much dirt! My floors were about as dirty as I ever let them get. Still have more to clean but am finding I have to stop and take breaks more often right now.
Didn’t take a pain pill last night or today although I probably could have. My foot has been a bit cranky today. I bruised my good foot with the scooter so both feet have hurt today. I am so over cranky feet! They both need to grow up and get over themselves.
One week down and six to go before I am cast and boot free. So looking forward to that!
Tim found me a 25 pound turkey and brought it out to me today. Sometimes the big ones are hard to find. I so appreciate him finding it for me and hauling it out here.
Two friends let me know they are coming in Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and will spend Thanksgiving with us. I still have room at the table for more so if you don’t have a place to eat Thanksgiving Dinner come join us on Thanksgiving Day at 1:00. We are having a ham and several side dishes.
Just got a box delivered from UPS. Time to start some gift wrapping. I’m doing a special thing for the two grandkids this year and it will involve lots more wrapping than I normally do.
The wind was strong again today. It has finally calmed down this afternoon. The wind can wear you out after a bit.
Grateful for a beautiful fall like afternoon, grateful to have gotten some cleaning done, and grateful to have my Thanksgiving turkey in the freezer.
