Finally got my blog site up and running again and they were able to do so without losing any data!  Yeah!

Went into Emporia this morning to get my hair cut.  Had quite a conversation about my skunk’s streak that is on top of my head.  My hairdresser was surprised to learn I didn’t like it.  I thought my hair was getting really thin there but he told me white hair is clear and looks thinner but it isn’t.   When I mentioned I wished my hair would just go ahead and turn all white I was told there was little to no chance of that happening until at least my mid eighties if then.  Learn something new everyday!

Stopped at Walmart and got a few things and then came home. Someone through Airbnb ask some questions about staying here for this weekend and I needed coffee and half and half just in case they book. Haven’t heard back from them so not sure they are coming. They were not sure of their plans yet. They seemed to want a queen sized bed instead of two twins.  Might need to consider putting a Queen sized bed in one of the bedrooms to accommodate couples better. I’ll see what happens over the next month or so and go from there.

Ordered a new pillow for my recliner but it is too small. The one I have has holes in each corner and keeps leaving me feathers to pick up. Will have to look some more and see if I can find one I like.

Kathy just posted on Facebook she had stopped for lunch and is three hours away. The weather sure is better for driving today than it was yesterday. Will be good to see her make it safely home.

The sun is shining again today. It is to continue warming up during the day. It was only 28 when I went to town this morning. Good news is the wind isn’t in such a hurry today. Bad news is more winter weather is headed my way by Friday. Can it just be Spring already and stay spring for longer than two days in a row? I noticed the peach tree is blooming. Will trust the weather won’t stay cold long enough to kill the buds.

Nicole is making her way home today too. She has a 23 hour travel day today. It is always good to hear from her as she journeys home and arrives safely.

Tomorrow a friend is coming to visit for the day. I love having friends come visit – especially those that like to have deep conversations. Friday I am going to KC, Saturday another friend is coming and Sunday I am helping with the Bridal Crawl at Pioneer Bluffs. Busy four days ahead of me. Best I enjoy the rest of my empty space this day has to offer as I won’t have any more until next week.

If the guests book for this weekend I will have to do some housecleaning and get ready for them. I require a one day notice so I still have time to get it done if needed.

Eggs are piling up again if anyone needs some. Have at least five dozen and will probably have six by this afternoon. The cold weather hasn’t slowed the girls down from laying. Need to remember to take some to KC Friday.

Quiet mind type of day. Enjoying the beauty of the blue skies and bright sunshine. Enjoying the peace and quiet of the prairie. Nothing really I need to do. Good space to be in.

Grateful Nicole and Kathy are headed home, grateful my blog is back up and running, and grateful for a haircut – it always makes me feel better.
