Jim will be arriving in about 15 minutes so will need to keep this short tonight.
The surgery center called me this afternoon and told me I will be Dr. Morgan’s first patient of the day and I need to be at the surgery center in Wichita at 6:00 in the morning. Yuck! Good thing they will give me drugs and I should be able to sleep most of the day when I get home. We will have to leave around 4:30. Maybe I will just stay up all night. 4:30 is about the time Jim usually goes to bed.
Went in to Emporia this morning to get an alignment and have new tires put on my car. They did the alignment and told me I was good to go. I went to the grocery store and as I was leaving got a phone call. The tire store had a miscommunication glitch and the new tires were not put on! Went back to the tire store. They pulled four guys off whatever they were doing and got my tires put on in record time. They were embarrassed!
Came home and have worked off and on all afternoon on cleaning house. Put fresh sheets on my bed, dusted, and straighten things up. I didn’t get all the floors done but they look better than they did. Ended up going outside and mowing instead of mopping floors. I needed to move my body and work out some anxiousness about surgery tomorrow. Just came in from mowing and I am dusty and dirty. I didn’t have to mow all the yard this time. It does look better.
Left messages with both the second solar energy panel company and the glass company. Why won’t these people call me back? Wish there were more options of companies to deal with.
Have a pot roast in the crock pot. The house smells so good. Jim loves peach cobbler so made him a cobbler. It smells good too.
Grateful Jim will be here soon, grateful surgery day is almost here so I can get that over with, and grateful for new tires on my car.
