I am cranky today! I have had a headache since I got the two shots Tuesday. I have tried Advil and Tylenol and neither one will knock it out. I finally took one of my pain pills a bit ago to see if that will help. I didn’t get much sleep last night and am not feeling the best today.
It is a bittersweet day for my family as today is Chris’s birthday. We love you buddy and miss you. Keep sending rainbows to us!
I went into Emporia this morning to pick up three prescriptions. I had breakfast at Commercial Street Diner. My cousins were there so I sat and enjoyed their company while I ate. They even bought my breakfast. Thanks Jim and Sandy. I love you two!
After I ate I went to Wal-Mart to get a pattern so I can make some aprons with the material I picked up Tuesday. After this headache goes away I will get one cut out and started. Trusting I will remember how to sew. It has been years since I tried to sew something. I picked up a few more things on my Thanksgiving dinner list. Almost have everything on my list except produce items which I can’t buy too far in advance. I’ll start looking for a huge turkey. Some years they are hard to find.
I got a chain to put the mustard seed charm a dear friend gave me last week. I tried to put it on when I got home from Emporia but it wasn’t going easy so I set it aside and will try again later. My vision is a bit blurry today and for some reason my hands were a bit shaky.
Nicole text me at 3:00 this morning to let me know she had gotten to her hotel room safely in Tahiti. Always good to hear she traveled safely. Trusting she will have fun while she is there. It took 18 hours of travel time to get there.
Nothing else on my to-do list for the day. Think I will put myself in time-out and take a nap and see if I can get rid of this headache. It is a cloudy, foggy day on the prairie which matches my mood today. Think I will stay away from people today for their safety.
One of those days I guess. Grateful I don’t have one like this very often. Trusting I will feel better soon and this headache will go away. Grateful I don’t have anything I have to do today so I can rest if needed. All is well on the foggy prairie today.
