It was a very calm and relaxing day. I had a good night’s sleep at last.
Fixed chicken tenders and grapefruit for breakfast. Sometimes you have to eat what is available.
The hot water heater wasn’t working so Hazel’s brother-in-law and her sister came over this morning to fix it. While they were here her brother and his wife came over with fresh muffins, bacon and eggs. We all had a nice visit.
After everyone left Hazel and I went kayaking on the pond. The lake was very calm today and looked like a reflecting mirror. It was like floating in heaven out on the water. We must have stayed out for over an hour paddling around and enjoying the view.
We cane in and I fixed a salad for lunch. We sat out on the deck chairs for a bit. I went upstairs and took a long nap.
Fixed bacon and eggs for dinner. I have been knitting off and on. I have finished three dish cloths on this trip so far.
Lazy, quiet day. Just what my soul needed today. Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow. Doesn’t matter! I know it will be another wonderful day in paradise.
