Happy birthday to my baby brother. He turns 66 today. He has a beautiful family and is a good Christian man. He grows a huge garden every year and is very generous with sharing his extra produce with others.
This has been a long day for some reason. I think the novelty of Cody being here has worn off. We are both getting on each other’s nerves today. He even wore Tagen down a bit today. We are taking turns taking breaks and surviving. I am feeling my age today! I have loved having him here though and am grateful I could help them out. Cody will be back for one more day next Tuesday.
I got the pantry cleaned out today. I took everything off the floor of the pantry and hand washed the floor. It was getting disgustingly dirty and needed cleaned out badly. It looks nice now.
I got a bit more sleep last night then I have the last couple of nights but still not what I consider to be a good night’s sleep. Maybe tonight will be the night.
I am putting stamps on over 2,000 postcards for Pioneer Bluffs this evening. That will keep me busy for an hour or two. They are dropping them off later this afternoon and I told them I would drop them in the mail tomorrow when I go to town. I have to pick up a prescription and my grocery order so will take them then.
No big plans for the weekend other than helping Michelle move. Hoping we get a big chunk of it done this weekend. She is coming up against a time limit and needs to get this job done. It will be good to have all her stuff here and out of that house. Next weekend I am hosting the family gathering and can’t help on Saturday. We will have to finish the job up by nextSunday.
I don’t have anything on my calendar for next week except for the family gathering next Saturday and watching Cody on Tuesday. I should have plenty of time to get my house clean. I might do a Costco run one day next week if I need a day away.
I wasn’t able to stay above neutral for a bit of the day. I have recovered and climbed back over neutral but dropped a rung or two from yesterday. It will be good to have a quiet day tomorrow to recover.
Grateful we were able to watch Cody for three days this week, grateful the pantry is cleaned out and grateful for my baby brother Keith.
