The Newsletter project is complete. She brought it to us last night around 8:00. I stuffed the envelopes inside and Jim started putting the three stickers on each newsletter. I finished them up this afternoon. She only brought 1,800 of them – I was expecting 5,000 so it was a small job.

I have a crock pot of chili cooking for dinner tonight. Sure wish I could invite some friends or family over to share it with us. It is hard to make a small batch of chili.

I got on the hot line for about an hour last night. Only took four calls. It was a weird night and after a few calls I logged off. Just wasn’t feeling it last night.

I may go take a nap when I get done writing. I am tired and won’t make it very long tonight unless I take a nap. I slept fairly well last night so not sure why I feel tired now except I have a bad napping habit.

The chickens gave us 26 eggs yesterday. We have gotten 21 so far today. When I went down this morning to let them out it was just starting to snow. We got some beautiful, big flake snow for about 20 minutes. Got enough to barely cover the ground and then it stopped. It is to get below zero during the night later next week. Not my favorite type of weather.

This is another stay tucked in at home type of day. Neither one of us have much that needs to be done so we are relaxing and not getting much done. It is my favorite type of day. Tomorrow will be more of the same. I’ll have to get out Monday to deliver eggs. I don’t think we have anything on our calendar next week. Jim needs to take the Honda in to get it inspected so he can title it in KS. We’ll see if he gets it done.

I need to spend some time checking the tax package. I think most of the forms have come in but am not sure. It will be good to get that package in the hands of the accountant and off my desk. My goal is to have it at the accountants by the end of next week but I need to make sure I have all the tax forms in.

Grateful for the beautiful snow that fell today, grateful the snow stopped before it piled up much, and grateful for naps that restore my energy.
