Had a delightful evening last night with my Match guy.  After he got here we went for a two-mile walk so he could stretch his legs after the three-hour drive. We had dinner when we got back from the walk. Luckily the pot roast was delicious.  We then went out and sat in the swings and watched the stars come out. Had to take a blanket out though as it got cold after the sun went down.

This morning after breakfast we went to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve and took a seven-mile hike.  We stopped at the look-out point to rest and enjoy the beauty of the Flint Hills.  I did well on the hike even though I hadn’t walked that far since the Camino.

He left for home around 5:00 this evening.  We had a fun time together and will be spending more time together after I return from my trip to New Zealand and Australia.

I am tired this evening.  That long hike wore me out.  Thinking it will be an early bedtime for me tonight.

I have lots of things to get done the next three days so I am ready to go on my next adventure Friday.  I have a list so thinking I will get it all done.  Hard to believe it is almost time to leave.

I need to call a plumber to replace a faucet in the garage.  It drips at times and I can’t get it turned off tight enough.  Need to get it done before it freezes.

Need to get the guest room cleaned and reset tomorrow.  I don’t have any guests coming before I leave but I like to leave the rooms ready.

Grateful for a fun 24-hours with my Match guy, grateful for being able to hike for over seven miles today, and grateful for another absolutely beautiful fall day in KS.
