I was woken up this morning by a knock on my door.  It was the pest guy giving me my bill for taking care of the wood bees.  Five minutes later he was back.  They had backed their pickup over the rocks that line the driveway.  He was asking if I had a jack he could borrow.  I don’t have one.  I’m not sure how they got it off but an hour later they were gone.  I did that just after I moved in the first time and almost ripped the oil pan off the bottom of my Prius.

Tim brought out two ladders this morning so I went out and painted the swing set frame.  I got it done!  It looks nice.  Glad that part of the painting is done.  I don’t like ladder painting.

Got notified there was a problem with my blog site.  They have an emergency link you can log in and fix problems.  The back-up plug in wasn’t working properly so I deleted it and I am back in business.  I will wait a day or two and then try to reload it.  It comes in handy when I am typing and if I get distracted and have to leave I don’t have to start over when the back-up feature works.

Made an appointment with my attorney to get my trust updated.  We couldn’t find a date to do so until after I get back from CO in July.  Made appointments for Roxy and the cats for their annual visit.  I think I timed it correctly and Jim will be here that day so I can take all three in at the same time.  I can’t manage to take all three in one trip if I am by myself.  I also called to get a haircut appointment for next week.  I can’t believe it has been two months since I got my hair cut last.  Time flies when you are having fun!

Tomorrow is my last empty space day for a bit.  I need to start cleaning house for the guests that are coming this weekend.  I will be gone most of the day Wednesday and the guests start arriving Thursday.  I also need to go buy groceries Thursday morning as I am fixing breakfast two of the days.

Jim will be here Thursday afternoon.  We are going to the Symphony together Saturday and then on Monday he is sanding the back deck so it can get painted.  I hope the weather holds so we can get that job done.  Rain is in the forecast for the weekend so we will see what happens.

I haven’t made it out to the garage to clean it yet.  I am still recovering from painting for four hours on the swing frame.  I still have the evening so I might get out and get it started at least.  The cleaning and sorting bug has hit me and I am looking for things to get rid of.

Need to walk down and get the mail.  It is so nice out it will be a good day to take a walk.  I got plenty of exercise painting but it will feel good to stretch my legs a bit.

Still sitting in my peaceful valley.  Life is sure easier for me when I can find this sweet spot to live life from.  I am grateful for it as I can slip out of it without notice or reason.

Grateful the swing set frame is painted, grateful I didn’t have any mishaps on the ladder, and grateful for Tim for delivering the ladders.
