I did ten tax returns today.  Only two had something I hadn’t seen before.  The others were all simple ones.  Seemed I had time to do nothing today as I waited for a review of my work.  Usually I can find a return to review but that didn’t happen so much today.

The day went fast.  I left around 3:45 as we had finally cleared out the line and had no clients.  There were plenty of other prepares that were going to stay in case someone else showed up.  It was spitting ice and I wanted to get home before the roads get slick.

Jim has a medical test tonight at 6:00 so we won’t have dinner before 7:00.  I may go take a short nap when I get done writing my blog.  I am tired tonight but not sure I am sleepy.

I should do some painting in the kitchen.  I think I will lay down for a bit and if I don’t fall asleep I will get up and paint.  I want to get one wall done so we can see how everything is going to look.  I sure like what we have done – especially since I changed the color of the top running board above the paneling.

Tomorrow I do taxes but only in the afternoon.  Wednesday is another full day of doing taxes.  Thursday we head for KS.  This week is going to fly by quickly.

My right foot is still bothering me today.  I’m glad I didn’t walk much on it today as it screams at me every step I take.  Sure wish I knew why it has become a problem child for me.

I did Jim’s taxes today. The manager of my site let me do them without Jim coming in.  They bend the rules a bit for the volunteers.  That was nice!  He was glad they were done and filed and he didn’t have to do anything.

I took my lunch today and took 15 minutes and ate it.  Last Monday I didn’t take a break and came home and ate anything and everything I could get my hands on.  I hate to take a break when I know people have been sitting for two hours waiting for us but I have to take care of myself.

Three dresses are supposed to arrive Wednesday.  Trusting one of them will be THE one.  We shall see!

Grateful to have been in service today – I get to meet the nicest people, grateful Jim’s taxes are done, and grateful I took the time to eat lunch today.
