Finally got a few things done today.  Jim emptied his dark room from his old house yesterday.  We unloaded the car today.  Most of it probably needs thrown away but he will sort through it tomorrow and see what can be salvaged.

The people that have been repairing Jim’s limb chipper finally called and told Jim that his chipper was ready to be picked up.  They have had it since August.  Thomas helped his dad pick it up and get it unloaded from the car.

Thomas helped us put up a set of storm windows.  We still have two more sets of windows to do but got one more set done today.

It was a bit cold outside today as it barely reached 40 today.  It was also a bit windy.  I had to wear my heavy coat, hat and gloves to try to stay warm.

Not sure what our plan is for tomorrow.  Thomas will stop by in the morning on his way to the airport so he can say goodbye for this trip.  We have enjoyed having the sons around for the last week.  It is always bittersweet to let them return to their own lives but it will be good to get back to our normal routine.  We have lots of tasks to choose from to do.

We both took a nap this afternoon.  I hadn’t slept very well again and it felt good to take a good nap.  My feet have both been cranky today and the right one is swollen again.  I am so tired of feet that are cranky.  Surely one of these days they will calm down.

I got a bit of cleaning done this morning but still have lots more to do.  Maybe while Jim sorts his dark room equipment I can get some more cleaning done.

We took Katy, the 18 year old cat, to the vet today.  As we thought she has a bladder infection.  Trusting the antibiotics will help her feel better soon.  She was acting a bit better this morning.  Hoping by tomorrow she will be lots better.

Hard for me to believe that tomorrow is New Year’s Eve.  This year went by very fast.    Not sure if it is because I am older or what but time sure seems to go fast.  Sometimes I just want to grab time and slow it down.

2020 will bring big changes for me.  Planning a wedding will be at the top of my to do list for next year.  We will have a family only ceremony but will plan two receptions – one in Stillwater and one in Strong City.

Grateful to have gotten something productive done today, grateful Katy is feeling better, and grateful for a long winter’s nap.
