The house is a mess!  I have been painting inside the kitchen cabinets and stuff is everywhere.  We went out for lunch and will need to go out for dinner.  Can’t find the stove or dishes to eat off of.  I have three more shelves to paint and five need a second coat.

There were two layers of contact paper on the shelves.  I had to use a razor blade to get it all up.  At some point someone had painted some of the shelves red.

Jim has a lot of sorting to do before I can put things back up.  He has way too many coffee cups and water cups.  If he can’t part with them they need to go on the upper shelves out of the way.

The drain coming out of the bathtub has a leak in it.  We can’t use the shower until it gets fixed.  The plumber is to come Monday to fix it.  I’ll have to use the kitchen sink to wash my hair.  At least we have water and can flush the toilet.

Not sure what I will find to do tomorrow.  I have been busy all day today painting.  I like days like this when I have projects to work on.

We took a one-mile hike this afternoon.  It was so pretty out and both of us needed some fresh air and to stretch our legs.  It reached 51 today and is to be 62 tomorrow and 75 on Sunday.  I like winter in Oklahoma!  Maybe we can take a really long walk one or both of those days.

My feet have plain out hurt today.  I woke up to my right one screaming at me.  The left one joined in on the chorus.  I took some Advil and they quieted down for a bit but are yelling again tonight.  They can take a hike!

We picked up some more paint samples at Lowe’s today.  We are getting to the point of needing to pick out paint colors for the cabinets and walls.  The colors I like don’t go with the living room color.  They don’t share a wall but it wouldn’t look good as you look into the kitchen from the living room.  It will be interesting to me to see what color Jim decides on.

Grateful inside the cabinets are almost all painted, grateful for a nice walk today, and grateful for Advil!
