I am home on the prairie.  The roads were nice and clear all the way.  We did run into some light rain but none of that freezing stuff.  Grateful to be home.

It was a bit of a frustrating ride to KS though.  Jim drove my new car and he is having a pretty steep learning curve with it.  It has more beeps than his car does and I can’t figure out how to turn them off for him.  It is hard to teach an old dog new tricks sometimes!

When we got here we unloaded the car.  Jim brought lots of slides to work on.  Not sure I understand what he is doing with them – something about putting them into order and eventually he wants to put them on the new computer.

I set up the new computer but I was on my last nerve and it didn’t go well.  I have an apple iPhone and iPad but haven’t used an apple computer for a long time.  I finally had to walk away and I will try tomorrow when I am better rested and not so worn down.

We went to Ad Astra for dinner.  Service was a bit slow but the food was good.

Tomorrow I have to leave around 8:30 to go to KC to meet Nicole.  Trusting the roads will be clear and easy going.  It will be a fun day although a long one.

I am beyond frustrated tonight.   Think I will call it a night and go to bed and wake up in a better mood tomorrow.

Grateful for a safe journey home, grateful I didn’t snap completely today, and grateful tomorrow is a new day!
