Not feeling bad – not feeling good after the vaccine yesterday. Feels like I am coming down with something. Pretty low energy, mild headache and a achy arm but nothing much else. I have had trouble getting and staying warm today but otherwise tolerating the vaccine. We will see what the next 24 hours bring.
I haven’t gotten much of anything done today. I didn’t sleep much last night so was up for a couple of hours this morning and then went back to bed. Slept off and on for a couple of hours. Feel like I could go back to bed and attempt to get more sleep. Sleep is so hard to find sometimes.
I had booked off my hot line shift last night and was glad I had done so as I didn’t have the emotional energy to deal with it last night. I checked once today and they were busy enough I could have logged on but decided not to. I am drained enough today without adding that to it.
We haven’t made it by the new investment property yet. As far as I know it was to be empty today sometime. We might go by tomorrow if I have more energy.
Jim laid some gravel in the chicken yard so when it rains we won’t get our boots so muddy. I gave the girls some sprouted wheat berries today – they love them. The girls gave us 23 eggs today. Back to having seven dozen eggs in the refrigerator. Yikes. What to do with eggs becomes the question of the day around here.
Finished the birthday blanket and ordered yarn for my next project. I like the colors in the one I just finished. I have some yarn left over so added a few colors and will make a similar one next time so I can use up the left over yarn. Webs is running four to five days behind on shipping so it will be a week or more before the yarn arrives.
Am fixing Jim burritos for dinner – I will have a plain hamburger patty. Not really feeling like eating much today so may not be able to get a hamburger down. I had some grapes for lunch – they were all that sounded good.
I had to call the internet company today again. The guy I spoke to earlier this week forgot to call me back to tell me what he was going to do. He is shipping a new power cord. We will see if that fixes the problem.
My accountant’s office called and they will have my taxes ready to pick up Monday. I have to go to Emporia to get my teeth cleaned at the Vo-Tech on Tuesday afternoon so I told them I would pick them up then. So nice to have the taxes done and out of the way.
Jim got a call from Newman Hospital checking to see if he wanted to get the vaccine. They are looking for people 65 and older for a clinic next week. Sounds like Emporia is almost done vaccinating those 65 and older and is getting ready to open it up to the next group. That is good news for those waiting their turn. If you are 65 or older and haven’t found a vaccine yet, call Newman Hospital and see if you can get in to their clinic next week.
My new cholesterol medication came in today. I don’t need it for two weeks but good to know it is here and ready for me when I do. It is a new type of injection so trusting I can figure out how to use it. It took me three months to figure out the last one. Sure trusting this one won’t leave a chemical welt burn on my thighs at the injection site like the last one did.
